I know that you’re passionate about what you do and serving your clients. And I also know how frustrating it is to spend time, energy and money doing marketing that isn’t bringing you the results you want.

There are three big problems with the way most marketing is done and taught.

The so called marketing gurus are advising you to position yourself as a guru who has all the answers. You’re told to probe your prospective customers’ fears, insecurities, and feelings of inadequacy to get them to work with you. It’s us vs them.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. And frankly I think people are getting sick and tired of it.
I invite you instead to take a different approach. What I call “Marketing with Heart”.
Marketing with heart honors your value, and your prospective clients. It isn’t guru centric, but people centric. After all, you’re not here to manipulate people or make them feel bad. You’re here to partner with your clients and guide them on their journey.
2. It’s insincere.
Traditional marketing tells you to figure out what people want, and then tell them what they want to hear. You come off like an insincere robot who sounds like everyone else.
Marketing with heart honors your voice. Yes, you have to speak to your ideal clients and meet them where they’re at. But you’re not just here to say what they want to hear. You’re here to speak your truth as well. It’s authentic to you and respectful to your prospective clients.
3. It’s tactical.
Traditional marketing focuses on the latest and greatest tactics and skims over the strategy. It tells you what and how, but leaves out the why. Do FB ads, run a challenge, do joint ventures, use LinkedIn. A million tactics tried all at once that leave you spinning in circles.
Marketing with heart honors your vision. It’s based on sound strategy that feels good for you. It focuses on the most simple form of marketing that allows you to share your message and build a relationship of trust.
So let’s sum it up.
Traditional, ego based marketing is based on tactics that position you as the guru and says what people want to hear.
Marketing with Heart is strategic marketing that honors you and those you serve. It honors your value, voice and vision.
